Word is that Barbara Bellucci, who appears prominently in the "Blondes" thread on this site, died on August 13, 2011 of complications related to pneumonia.

She was my heart-throb and it's a crying shame to lose her. Rest in peace, dear.

I almost hate to address the HIV thing - but I had two friends die of it, and the end came from 'complications due to pneumonia'. A normally young healthy person can usually fend off pneumonia, but if their immune system is compromised, they can't fight it off. In one case it was quite sudden.

But back to Barbara - beautiful and it's tragic to lose her.
