You have to take Oestrogen, for the rest of your life.
Erectile function may still occur*, though it can take longer to get going. As Mandy amply demonstrates...

Most Ts don't get erect. And often this is prior to starting hormones of having an orchi.
It's down to in many cases a loathing of their genitalia.
I don't know about Mandy's thought process on that and I'm sure she will answer if she sees the post and is comfortable doing so

I am not TS but I concur with much you have said.

I am an elective Eunuch but outwardly present as a reasonably masculine guy. I'd wanted rid of my testicles since my early teens and to my great relief finally had this done this five years ago. I'm on shots of T as I'd always wanted to retain my libido. I am very happy with this sublime condition and only wish I could achieved this before I was twenty.

Interestingly, despite taking T I have noticed a change in the quality of my orgasms. Like yours, they come on slowly and certainly take more time and effort to attain. The initial climax when it comes is very intense - far more so than before castration, and I am now very much aware of a heightened sensitivity of other erogenous areas (buttocks, anus, inner thighs and especially my nipples) which seem to respond in sympathy during orgasms.

Also, I now experience 'aftershocks'. I'm not sure I would call these multiple orgasms but they occur, sometimes three or four, with decreasing intensity.

These changes did not happen overnight but have gradually developed over the past five years. They may be psychological in origin - since I'm now happier and more 'at one' with my body than I was before, I don't know!

Hi Jasmine.
Firstly talk to your doctor. Get referred to a psych specialising in transsexual persons.
Then
1. Stop using herbal therapy. These products are manufactured to much lower standards the pharmaceutical products.
This means you never know exactly what you are getting. ie. the amount of Phytoestrogens in each tablet may vary a great deal; not a good thing.
Also, there is a question mark over the sterility of the factory they are produced in, as they are not subject to the same stringent production controls that pharma drugs are subject to.

2. After say 2 or 3 months get a blood test for your levels of:

• Testosterone
• Estrogen
• Cholesterol (triglyceride's)
• Liver Function Test (LFT)

3.Your psych in conjunction with your doc can then prescribe the right amount of oestrogen
& if you are under 40 years old, an anti-androgen or gonadorelin (LHRH) analogue type drug. {These suppress testosterone production}

4. after a couple of more months another blood test . To see if your bloods are the same as a Bio-female*. If not, the meds can be increased/decreased accordingly.

After a while 6 months on ....erections for most people, die away.
Over two years the testicles shrink, a lot.



*Bloods

Baseline Testosterone levels:
Male . . . . 10-25 nmol/L
Female. . . . . . 0.5 - 2 nmol/L

Baseline Estrogen 2 Level (midcycle Genetic woman):
120-400 pmol/L


The following are figures previously posted on NuttycaTS, which are similar to the ones above:

Normal testosterone levels:
Adolescent male. . . . 75-400 ng/dl

Adolescent female . . 20 to 64 ng/dl

Adult male. . . . . . . . .300 to 1000 ng/dl or 10.4-34.7 nmol/L (SI units)

Adult female. . . . . . .20-75 ng/dl or .69-2.6 nmol/L (SI units)

Post op transsexual. .can be lower than 3 ng/dl

well if i get an orchi i will probably just stay as that and not bother with full srs ... as the main reason behimd the srs/orchi for me would be to reduce damage to my liver ...

i have always gone by this thought process if my cock is no longer usabale there is not point in having it ... if i lose my balls, and retain abit of function etc then i may a wel keep it ...
