I'm a genetic female and I do routinely shave "Down there" although I have a nice tidy little triangle when it grows out. I have considered permanent depilation but I know electrolysis can hurt a lot.
My BF shaves his goodies too and my Asian ladyboy playmate does so on a Seasonal basis; A neat little patch in the usual feminine pattern in what little winter we have here and stays shaved for the warm months. Being castrated so young probably prevented a large area of pubic hair from developing in the first place. "Hers" does not extend down the crease between her little "vacancy" and thighs and there seems to be no hair whatsoever on the tiny remnant of her scrotum. That's no uncommon in Asians, castrated or not.
My Sapphic playmate is sort of off and on at random when it comes to shaving but I enjoy pleasuring her so much it doesn't matter either way.
