The Allman Brothers Band: The Filmore Concerts CD.

The Allman Brothers are quite possibly the best band ever the USA has produced. I don't think any band combined blues, jazz, country and rock so well. The incredible guitar playing of Duane Allman & Dicky Betts. The twin drummers Butch Trucks & Jaomie adding so much power. And the incredible voice of Gregg Allman(also keyboards).

Rory Gallagher: Live At RockPalast DVD Box Set. Series of 5 concerts (1976-1990).

IMHO....."U2"...pretentious, over-rated, full of themselves...and a handfull (just a handfull) of decent songs. Ireland's Thin Lizzyhas them beat by a mile! As for Rory Gallagher, also from Ireland and sadly, passed away in 1995, he could outplay "Edge" with one hand tied behind his back!

What is everyone else listening to?

Tori Amos: Tales of a Librarian (compilation cd/dvd). Tickets for her concert in August go on sale in about 35 minutes(ticketmaster). Wish me luck! Will be my 5th time seeing her in concert.

At the moment I'm listening to Slipknot's Wait and Bleed. For the passed week I've listened to them so much. Mainly I'm listening to rock and metal, and almost all of their different kinds. Metalcore, nu-metal, death metal, heavy metal, depends on the band.
