Jerk comes into play if the sex happens under false pretense - like leading someone into believing that a relationship is being explored. I'm more curious why you would think a Trans* woman could not be a "serious" thing for you.

For the record you were not accused of hitting anyone. However, the attitude that Trans* women are less worthy of anything does contribute to a social climate where violence against us is justified, and even condoned.

I couldn't agree more about being a jerk when sex happens under false pretense.

And what makes me look down on trans women when the only thing I said was that I don't think I could have a realationship with one? I could never have a realationship with a man either, does that make me look down on men?

I didn't say "look down", but that could work. To answer that question I need to ask - do you look for sex with men? If so, then yes, I would wonder why you could not view them as real relationship material. If no, then the question stands.

To echo what Bionca said, they're a jerk if they got sex by leading the other person on, making them think it would lead to a relationship. Aside from that, I'm not sure I would label them "jerks" per se. On the other hand, in terms of having meaningless sex and having sex simply for sex's sake, I might label them "childish"...
