I hate jocks, guidos, chodes, emos, fresas and all those other schmucks. People are way too vain and materialistic nowadays. It is quite depressing to see that we have come so far with our technology and yet we are slipping backwards in the human interaction department because of it.

AngryPostman and Raven both hit the nail on the head... when it comes to dating/pulling, it's a woman's world, and society in general is becoming ever more materialistic and shallow.... genuine deep connections that last are harder to find nowadays. It's a common theme across most of the Western world, including Blighty, where I live. You stand far less chance of meeting a suitable partner if you're unlucky enough not to conform to the prevalent social stereotype, be it "the jock", "the emo", "the financial high-flier", etc. I'm a black guy that likes white women/TS, and it's a problem I feel faced with too.

But all is not lost.... it doesn't mean that we'll NEVER find someone, it just means that we'll have to work much harder than most other guys to find that special someone. I like to think that the long hard search will make the experience of being with my ideal partner that much sweeter, when it does eventually happen. Chin up lads, keep plugging away at it!

It always come down to looks. You can have a great personality , be the kindest most caring person in the world but heaven forbid you be a fattie. Most girls trans or genetic would rather date an athletic guy , it's always been that way. There is an obesity epidemic in the world , pretty soon thin will be a minority. In the next ice age all the thin people will struggle to stay warm and us fatties will be walking around in tank tops and shorts. So there HA!!

It certainly depends on what you mean by "fattie". If you're a 500 pound dude, then yes... but many girls here appreciate the more chubby guys... as a rather slim little shit I have to fight against that when going for the girls ;-)

The important thing is grooming, a nice dresser and a sweet personality. And trust me on this one. So stop whining.

Yes looks helps but this is one Tgirl well former Tgirl who is not attracted to jocks i like to look at the whole person not just looks or bulid, i find most jocks to be jerks and stuck on there selves which is to me a big turn off Jennifer

i do not think its your looks that are stopping you from getting laid, its your attitude. you have no self confidence and women can smell it a mile away.

Quite the contrary, when i go out i'm in the mix , the first one to strike up a conversation and even dance a little . The ladies seem to enjoy my company but then get pounced on by athletic types and poof just like that "alone again naturally". And to make it worse it's almost always the same D-bag that swoops in , I swear he's stalking me or something . So thats why my confidence is fading. But thanks for the insight.

I basically agree -- my two bones of contention being people who are Text crazy and now Twitter obsessed with their cell phones.

In terms of texting, I have a friend whose story sums it up. He was sitting at home reading, when he noticed his daughter was sprawled on the couch consumed with constantly tapping away on her cell phone. Finally he asked "What are you doing?" and she said "I'm talking to Jennifer." My friend then said, "But you're just tapping away" and she replied "I'm texting her." Looking at the clock, he then pointed out "But you've been at it for ages. Why don't you just talk to her?" and his daughter said in a frustrated tone "I AM talking to her." To which my friend replied, "But you're holding a PHONE. You could have just called her and said what you wanted to say. You could be having a real conversation with her." And his daughter simply said, "I want to talk to her, but not really talk to her." And at that point, with logic completely out the window, he just gave up.

The part that left him really shaking his head? Jennifer is a girl who only lives three homes down, on their same block.
Remember when you used to not only TALK to your friends, but actually go and see them to do it in person?
Maybe I am getting too old for today's technology...

The Twitter crazies are just a step removed as far as I'm concerned. Why anyone thinks the world needs a 24/7 update on all of their daily moves or believes the world is desperately waiting to hear their most mundane thoughts is beyond me. ("Having morning coffee. BRB. Going to bathroom now!")

I saw a picture recently that cracked me. It showed two girls walking side by side -- neither one looking at the other because they were both so absorbed and focused on their cell phones -- and the copy below said: "OMG. I was gonna engage you in a conversation, but I had to update my Twitter to tell everyone that I was walking with you and about to talk to you."
