illegitimized (they may still be) by the dominant hetero-sexual culture whose 'psycho-biology' is powerfully procreative and states, outright, that anything else is 'unnatural'..and..'you'll burn in hell (religion.)'
I can easily imagine some poor student, or other, feeling panic and stress when his brain pleasure centre lights up in the lab and his nob twitches while watching guys (or ladyboys) having it off. It's a public event. He might not feel the same reaction in the privacy of his own or some other person's room.

I think the problem is too many people think of it as being a black or white situation, but I believe that human sexuality is full of lots of greyscale. For a long time I wondered if I was gay or straight, until I finally realized that the question itself is irrelevant. I'm attracted to some people and not to others. Some of those people are male, most are female, and a good portion fit somewhere in between. I've finally learned to appreciate, and enjoy my sexuality.
