I haven't seen "Cat People" since 1982 when I saw it in the theater. I remember the plot being totally over my head. Beyond Natassia Kinsky, what I remember most about the movie was it's theme song sung by David Bowie. I'll have to check it out again!

Thought I’d shift my focus to actresses from “way back.” Their beauty and talent is timeless. This really was the "golden age" wasn't it? Unless of course you want me to post more of Hayley, Taylor, Dove, or Miley. Didn’t think so…

Dorothy Malone

Very popular actress of the 40’s and 50’s. Her career extended into the 60’s and 70's. I saw her once in “The Last Voyage” on late night TV when I was very young. Sort of like the “Titanic.” The ship sinks but of course she is saved! What did you think happened? Extremely beautiful and sexy, Dorothy was popular as a “pin-up” as well. Sadly, she passed away last year at 92.

In 1957 she won the Academy Award for “Best Actress in a Supporting Role” for “Written on the Wind.”

(Interesting Trivia: That is Rock Hudson sitting with her in the last picture. Her "husband" in "The Last Voyage" was played by none other than Robert Stack--"Elliot Ness" of the 50's TV show "The Untouchables." The man who helps save her from drowning was played by Woody Strode, a football star at UCLA who would go on to play in the NFL for the Los Angeles Rams. You probably know him from "Spartacus" as a gladiator. Listed at 6'4" 205 lbs. Strode was an "offensive end." Today we would call that position "wide receiver." Very fast and great all around athlete. He has been in many movies. )

Everyone has contributed excellent content to this thread and I, for one, would really love to see Divas from yesteryear! I have to say Dorothy Malone is very pretty!

My contibution for today is Dilyara Larina. I know she's not everyone's favorite but this Russian BBW pushes all the right buttons for me! So prettyy...so beautiful and sexy!

Dilyara is beautiful. How did you first learn about her?

I hope people want to see more of Dove because “Descendants 3” is scheduled to be released in August so I’m sure there’s going to be a lot more pictures of her posted over the summer.

The other women of “Descendants” are also very beautiful and talented. I thought it would be nice to make a post here featuring the other main leads as well.

In the middle is China Anne McClain who plays “Uma” daughter of “Ursula” from “The Little Mermaid.”

On the right is Sofia Carson who plays “Evie” Mal’s BFF.

And in the last photo is Sarah Jeffery who plays “Audrey.” Audrey was last seen in the first “Descendants” as the girlfriend of “King Ben” who we all know “has it bad” for Mal. This could be “fanart” but the rumor is she has turned “evil.” There is a version of this pic with a caption "Do you like me now?" Um-mm... Yeah.

Doing "research" for the above post I was struck by how totally gorgeous Sarah Jeffery is and why I wasn't familiar with her... (don't watch TV, being married, busy with work, etc.). So I asked the "experts" (my two nieces, 9 and 10). Then looked her up. My prediction: Future star. She already has had several roles on TV and currently is the main character on "Charmed." Didn't know there was a new series. Still remember the one from the late 90's and 2000's. Showing my age I guess...

I don't know where I first came across this picture but I was but it reallly turned me! She was one of the most gorgeous women I ever saw so I had to find out who the model was and my search led me to Dilyara Larina

Looking forward to seeing more the "Descendants"....especially Mal!
