Again-tremendous responses!
 Yasmin Lee is a perfect example of someone who would meet a more objective 'gold standard"Where I may be a fan of her work personally, I don't think her popularity in the industry can be disputed. She even nabbed a part in a mainstream Hollywood movie, "Hangover 2". (It was fun watching that scene  )I also really appreciate the research in terms of gathering statistics! Those are great objective measures and Andy makes the great point that a top 10 list of our own would be just as valid. I believe as far as a "gold standard"goes, what it boils down to me are who are transsexual "it girls"past and present?
