Great responses everyone!

It was Gia Darling who first got my attention when the T-Girl bug first seriously bit me. Seeing her opened up a whole new world for me. Since then I've seen a lot of girls, some who seems to enjoy more success and popularity in the industry and fans. Some, like the incredible Johanna Bardine and Joanna Jet have lengthy careers where others are only around a few years before retiring.

The industry itself recognizes achievement with the TEA Awards. I can't say I ever paid too much attention to who the winners were. I really enjoy the red carpet pictures though and would absolutely love to attend such a gala.

I really like what everyone thinks! Every once in a while someone in the industry contributes to these boards. It'd be really cool to get some feedback from them although I'm sure they can't comment too much due to professional reasons.

Some sort of industry rankings would be helpful. I’m sure they have lots of data. But the fun is in sharing the women we like the most. Already quite a few of the same names have come up.

Regarding my own subjective choices. I took a more personal approach of course and can’t stop thinking about Nicole Ferri.

All I can say is if I was lucky enough to go out with Nicole on a romantic dinner date in downtown Indy and she gave me that “look” we’d clear the table and go at it right there in front of everyone. Then I’d get down on my knees and ask her to marry me.

I guess I was I was thinking in terms of the industry and fan favorites when I put it out there about ä "gold standard". I wanted to get past my own personal favorites and get objective feedback which is great.

I told my friend that if there was anyone who met a "gold standard"it was Mia Isabella. Objectively speaking, she's had a huge career, is extremely popular, and has a level of fame that has somewhat transcended the industry. She's been linked to celebrities and last year was the winner of Howard Stern's "Miss Cocktober"beauty contest. The judges were all people on the show who, I believe were not familiar with any of the contestants.

I had a HUGE hard on listening to that broadcast!

Looking forward to hearing more!

There are so many beautiful women! I don't think it's possible to agree on only one but I'm glad you like Nicole. I don't remember how I first heard about her but it was basically love at first sight.

That's the thing- we're not talking about only one girl!

My pick of Mia Isabella was purely subjective although I think by any measure one could say Mia is a top performer in the the industry. There are as many girls who meet some "gold standard" as there are people who admire them. I guess if I were being objective, and looking only at t-girls in transsexual porn, then I'd look at who I thought were the top girls in the industry whether or not I was a fan of their work. I can respect someone's career even if I'm not a true fan.

There are a lot of performers and all are worthy of recognition for their work. Some really stand out during the course of their careers. Other than Mia, examples of girls like these I can think of, some of whom are retired,are: Gia Darling, Bailey Jay, Foxxy, Eva Lin, Jesse Flores, Vaniity. They are all incredible!

The list could go on and on but, objectively speaking, which performers/models, past and present, do you all think should be represented as the "gold standard"? The transsexual "it girls" as it were?

I'm really hoping some indutry types see this thread and are able to chime in!

Someone gave me rep for Nicole. Thanks! I'm glad you think she's beautiful. She was a "Miss Trans Argentina" a few years ago. I don't exactly remember how I first heard about her but as I said above it was "love at first sight."

(I also made a joke about leaving my wife and moving to Argentina. Well maybe someday... )

I think Nicole mostly does modeling. I have seen lots of pictures of her and never have seen her in anything explicit. Just some topless "selfies" (nothing showing). The last picture is from an ad campaign for perfume and cologne. I have heard that she is post op although I can't confirm it. I pretty much fell in love the first time I saw her.

We should probably start a thread devoted to her. Thanks again for the "rep." Glad you like her...
