As the All-Star break approaches, the Tigers suck once again (.412) but Joe Jiménez has been the team's best hope for the future. He was recently selected for his first All-Star game.

ESPN Update: The Tigers won 6-3. Verlander gave up 4 home runs to his former team.

Looking for more "retro" stuff and found this picture of Hugh Hefner's office from 1967. Amazing. My own office looks just like that! Except I have a very powerful desktop computer instead of a typewriter (like anyone cares about that...).

For Hugh Hefner that does look quite tame. Depending what is on my monitor, my office however could be very risque.

But no wonder 1967 is known as "The Summer of Love." The first picture is Jean Shrimpton and the other two are Brigitte Bardot. From Pinterest. The title of the post was "The Death of Shame."

If that's the case, you can go ahead and kill me now...
