Don’t know what made me go search for this today but I did. “Miracles Still Happen” is the true story of Juliane Koepcke a teen-age girl who survived a plane crash in the Amazon jungle, Christmas 1971. She is still alive today and is a Mammalogist.
It must have been on TCM. Late at night, alone in my room, going through the channels, the previews looked intriguing (A really cute blonde in a very short and torn dress wandering through a jungle all wet and sweaty? What boy could resist?) The actress who played her, Susan Penhaligon, ![]() ![]() was 24 or 25 at the time, so the pics from the movie should be OK to post.Anyway, I’m pretty sure my Mom was asleep, but I locked the door to my room just in case. You get the idea… Since then I have seen Susan in other movies. She was very beautiful and a good actress. ![]() ![]() (Tragically, about two or three years before I saw this movie, Detroit had one of the worst airline disasters in US history when an MD-82 crashed on takeoff. Ironically the only survivor was a young girl. For many years you could see the new section of I-94 where it had come down. I would make my first flight a few years later on the same runway. I was scared shitless then I thought about this movie and that night. My Mom said to my Dad: “Andy must like flying, look at how he’s smiling…” )

“Jungle Movies” are probably one of the places where guys experience scantily-clad beautiful women for the first time. Another movie I remember was “Sheena” starring Tanya Roberts.
![]() ![]() ![]() “Sheena” was one of the first VHS rentals my mom got for me. I guess she thought it was all right since it was rated “PG” or something. There is a scene early in the movie where Tanya is topless taking a shower under a waterfall. She also is bound and almost thrown from a helicopter by bad guys. Never told my mom about that… ![]() “Miracles Still Happen” is a good movie. I guess I should’ve felt guilty jacking off over a girl who just lost her family in a plane crash but when you are a kid you don’t stop to think about stuff like that. Anyway, I just thought Susan was really cute and sexy and well… you know. I watched the whole thing and was glad she was finally rescued. At the time I didn’t know it was based on a true story. Never have seen it since—she must have made a big impression on me that I would still remember her today. Sort of like your first girlfriend…![]() ![]() Out of curiosity I looked her up yesterday and discovered her son is older than me. And that is a true story about Detroit and my first plane ride. As we were headed down the runway, I thought about Susan (not the crash in the beginning of course) and it made me feel better. Since then I have flown more times than I care to remember. On business, with my college football team, and with my family on vacation.

"Pulp" magazines from the 1930's.
Very risque. And these are just the ones I decided to post. There were far worse ones. Wonder how this stuff made it past the censors back then? ![]() (I don't think it was considered "porn." You could probably buy it anywhere. You know guys beat off to this. Hell, I'm thinking about beating off to the blonde on the cover of the first one. By the way, excuse me for a sec... )

![]() By the way the "green guy" tying the girl to the table (middle pic, second row) has got some arms on him. He must workout. Just needs a makeover and also needs to work on his "social skills" and improve his approach to women. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope members feel encouraged to post whatever to this thread. It's all good.

I was curious about the more “explicit” and “violent” covers that I did not post in particular and did some research. In Hollywood, there was something called the “Hays Code” that was followed from 1930 until the late 1960’s. It governed what could be shown (and said) in movies produced in the United States. I guess that’s why you don’t hear the word “motherfucker” or see nudity in 1940’s or 50’s movies. ![]() There was a similar “Comics Code.” I’ve attached the “official” seal of approval below. I have seen this before and never really gave it any thought. It all makes sense now: Quote:

Porn was pretty much underground for decades. Guys used to have to have make do with pin-up girls and Super 8 films before centerfolds and VHS tapes. Now we have tons of options for adult entertainment!
The "damsel in distress"theme has always been pretty common male fantasy I think and the artwork for pulp magazines and comics is testament to that. Personally I grew up reading comic books and it seemed like all the superheroines were beautiful with skin tight and reavealing costumes showing off their assets. No wonder I got a thing for strong and sexy ladies! ![]() I hoping that they cast Mis Ultra Nate' as Storm in the next X-Men movie! ![]() ![]()

![]() Posters were a big thing in the 80's and 90's. I had the "full length" poster of Heather Thomas on the back of my bedroom door (maybe like '90?). And of course I had my share of Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler magazines hidden in my room. ![]() We used to go to a friends to watch "R" rated and "Adult" VHS movies. His dad traveled a lot and his mom worked. They had an early three beam "projection" TV in their basement. Awesome place to hangout! ![]() Looking forward to seeing Ultra Nate as Storm. Great casting! ![]()

The only way to deal with her predicament is to take care of it myself... First, I would throw her incompetent "rescuer" out the porthole. Maybe the sharks will get him? Second, I would cut her loose and bring her back inside. That dickhead isn't even watching what he's doing. He'll probably stab her in the back or cut her fucking arm off. Of course she would be eternally grateful. Third, after a long and passionate kiss, she reveals to me that she "kind of liked" being tied up. Also she hints that she has a secret she'd like to share with me later... ![]() Of course it's a long voyage so we have lots of time to become better acquainted. ![]() (Actually it's no "secret." I could feel her hard cock as our bodies were pressed tightly together during our kiss.) Last edited by a9127; 07-01-2018 at 09:49 PM. |

Movies, TV, Pulp Magazines and... Toys? I’m sure these gave kids lots of ideas. Always wondered where they came from. Surprised I’ve never seen them on “Pawn Stars.” Maybe I missed that episode? Bet Rick had them as a kid…
Unopened in the box they’re probably worth a fortune. My guess is Aurora knew exactly what they were doing. They were even “Rated X for Excitement.” Read about it here: “Nabisco's X-Rated Toy Scandal of 1971.” Last edited by a9127; 07-12-2018 at 02:05 PM. Reason: too long |
