I agree. But that said it's not possible to come up with a single and simple answer that covers every transsexual. In my experience there are as many approaches to being transgendered as there are trangendered people :-)

And in the end it makes sense to separate transsexuality from transvestism. Transsexuality is a matter of gender-identity (the wrong body thing). Transvestism is a matter of an attraction/need to dress in the clothing of the opposite sex.

And then you have all the trans-people in transsition - a transsexual may start out as a transvestite (in fact, most do) and finally get to the point where she lives as a full time transsexual woman. In other words, it's a process of self-realization.

It's also important to separate gender-identification from sexual orientation. Some transsexual women are sexually attracted to women - they are in other words trans-lesbians. This phenomenum is more the case in the West than in Asia. In Asia the absolute majority of trans-women are attracted to men.

Very few things in this world clearly fall under one clean category. There are degrees of intensity to everything. So also are the extents to which people will chase their dreams. Thus the label, "ultra gay".
If people can be "super extra way gay", why not "ultra gay"?
People can be just "straight", "gay", bisexual, "fetishist" and really twisted in many ways.

well if u talk about transexuals they are not 'men' and they have no choise but go for female look.
if u talk about transgender people or bigender they feel ok to be both guys and girls and can smoothly go from one look to another.
and if u talk about ordinary guys who decide to be a girl, that is the most interesting case. what really can make guy a girl? hmm, some of them just get into casualy and coudn't get out becouse thay like that way, i guess that the way u can do transgender your mind and identity. yeah, but there must be something serious to buy a pack of hormones. i think mental exhaustion can be the one. they just feel broken feel they are not real man anymore. then they try some ts stuff and get sucked into.
