First, you wouldn't want to be one. (TS) You don't need the mood swings. Most of your present friends would not accept you. That includes relatives. Nevermind any perceived openess, discrimination is still out there. Your boyfriend is caught up in a fantasy. Why some guys haven't grown up yet is a question that life has not revealed the answer. I'm not going to try. You want to make him happy? His happiness should come from making YOU happy. If that isn't there, it may be time to move on.
