it all depends on what you are looking for. if you are looking for a hook up sexually or, whether you are looking for a friend and possible relationship. There are ways to get around paying on the pay sites too as long as they are 'free' to join and post a profile.
But, if you join a site, even a free one, and you are only looking for cam sex or sex chat, be honest about it. Don't say you will meet up if you don't even plan to.
