No Nicolle I did a google search & it said Barbara died Aug 13th 2011 from complications from having pneumonia really sad situation she was young & beautiful

She was my heart-throb and it's a crying shame to lose her. Rest in peace, dear.

I almost hate to address the HIV thing - but I had two friends die of it, and the end came from 'complications due to pneumonia'. A normally young healthy person can usually fend off pneumonia, but if their immune system is compromised, they can't fight it off. In one case it was quite sudden.

But back to Barbara - beautiful and it's tragic to lose her.

I called her once back in 2003 for a photoshoot and she told me "nao posso, to viajandi pra italia"

and now she is gone
