At least they were able to pull off a 7-4 victory in game #2 of yesterday's doubleheader. They have a 1 game lead going into their final 3 games of the season. Even though it's Baltimore they're playing, they have to make sure they don't take them lightly. Baltimore has been playing spoiler the past few games, and they have been giving the other teams a fair bit of trouble! Except for Brian Matusz. How a guy with a 10.69 ERA (for the season!) can still be in the rotation just boggles my mind!

So, Boston still has a chance to escape with the Wild Card.

That's what my brother is saying. Grew up there, lived in the Bay Area, now in Boston. Don't know who to root for anymore. Well, not the Sox at this point. So, yeah, go Phillies
