JM,

You ask as if transgendered women are not people. Stop looking at them as objects for a split second...people have jobs.

Red face

I did not ask if they are not people. Of course they are. I was just wondering if there are people out there who are off the high horse. A lot of people out there are ignorant and think about how a M2F is a nice piece of meat and forget that some are out there in the general world where they go everyday!

I was just wondering if there are some that believe like me. I do believe that they work at Hooters, Bank Tellers, Tele Marketing, and especially nurses and any place or any job except a Nun. I am Catholic and I know that they do not accept these things yet!

For me, I do like meeting others in general. I appreciate a very beautiful girl when I am out, and if a girl is genetic and things spark with one I meet then i will take it further. If I meet a girl that tells me that she has a penis, I will not hold that against dating her either, nor a post op lady as well. Some guys critictsize girls for getting srs and say that if I wanted a girl with a vagina, I would take a genetic female! THAT IS CRUEL and most of these guys have no respect! Like Daniel Foxx on one thread, who is a porn star who was pre-op and now post-op, that many are upset at what she did to herself. Hey, its what makes her happy! It is not for us to decide!

By the way, I hope that girls born in the wrong bodies are closer then we think and are allowed to get a job anywhere! I hope that if she chooses to be a Hooters girl, she should be allowed! I even think that Hugh Heffner should let any girl be in his magazine even if she has a penis! That, too bad, will not happen. People put up a stink when Kelly Van Deer, a Dutch singer who is transgendered, posed nude for Playboy years ago! Heff was forced not to feature her in the US editions and only in Europe could you have seen her pictorial! People are narrow minded!

Hats off to you Transgen and for you sir, I did not say anything negative in my post, but just wondering if some agree with me that many have made it where twenty years ago could not!

I think the issue here comes down to this: who the hell would want to hang out in a "Hooters type restaurant" ?! Says it all to me ...

So, your first examples of everyday places where you see women are hooters and stripclubs?

Well I may be new here but I think that some of the replies here are a little too harsh.

The OP had a question, one of those 'off the top of your head' thoughts. It wasn't meant to be a deep philosophical debate nor, I presume, was it meant to cause offense.

To answer your question jmshemalelover, yeah, it?s more than likely that we have come into contact with transgendered females but there is no way of being certain, short of askng them, all you can do is suspect that they may be 'new' to woman-hood.

But you shouldn?t suspect this based on looks. Looks don?t mean anything. I say that because my ex girlfriend, and the biological mother of my two kids, had quite masculine features and was quite tall at 5?9. It wouldn?t surprise me if many people, who didn?t know her well , thought that she was born male. I?m not saying that she looked like a man, but she did have certain strong features that wouldn?t necessarily be consider particularly feminine and her voice was quite low, for a female.

I wish that I could post a picture of her on here, but that wouldn't be very smart now would it? The nearest I can get to describing her 'look' would be to compare her to female body builders. With these women, as with any woman who engages in extreme physical activities, the increasing demands made on the body requires the body to produce more testosterone (yes, women do produce testosterone) but a side-effect of this is that they developed certain male features and characteristics. Incidentally, I?ve always had a sexual attraction to female bodybuilders, I suppose that desensitised me and blurred the lines between gender characteristics. Cinthia Piu made me cross over the line completely.

Looks just don?t tell the whole story. I know girls who have that ?tough? look girls like the actress Debi Mazar (you do know her, she?s always type-casted as a Brooklyn girl or a ?gangsters moll?) looked like a very convincing ?trans? female, particularly in roles where she has her hair pulled tight i a pony tail and she?s wearing a lot of make-up.

If we shouldn?t suspect that a woman is M2F by looks or by voice, then there isn?t much that we can base our suspicions on.

One thing about "off the top of [one's] head" thinking is that it keeps people from stopping for a moment and thinking about the words they use. What you characterize as "a little too harsh" or responses provoked by language. It is our responsibility not simply to mean no offense, but ensure that they ways in which we communicate are not offensive even if that isn't our intent.

So, the point is that words do matter. I stand by what I wrote in response, meant to be a sarcastic response. I have no doubt that Jen and Anna will stand by their posts, too, although I wouldn't presume to speak for either of them.

I think the point should be made that not every M2F wants or is in the adult industry, some of us just live an everyday normal boring life
I just want to be one of the girls and blend in to socrity
I just want to go about my life with no one raising an eyebrow and questioning whether i'm male or female or a mix
I'm Jennifer i am strong i am invinvincable i am woman

I do understand what you are saying SMC, but the trans-gendered community is still a 'minority', just as blacks, Chinese, gays, and the disabled are a 'minority' and as such the 'majority' often lack understanding about the issues that these groups face. From time to time some will 'slip up'.

For the first few years of my interests in 'trans-females' I gave little thought to their lives. Back then, to me, they existed only on the internet and only for as long as it took for me to satiate my urges and 'pop one off'. Once I ?came? and switched my PC off, these females vanished into nothingness. Obviously, I have grown a little since then and I am aware that they have trans-gendered females experience the same depths of complexity that we all face in our daily lives if not even more.

My point is that all of us 'trans lovers' are at different stages of awareness and our comments will sometime reflect that. Constructive criticism is often better than just criticism. I would hope that if I stumble in my 'gender nouns' that someone here would be kind enough to gently correct me, after all we are all here for the same reason, to share our appreciation of these fine females.

You bet! Do you remember Lisa Edelstein playing a Transsexual in Ally McBeal? She was really convincing... I always get a hardon when watching the scene in which she presses her hips against her doubtful boyfriend while dancing with him to unveil her secret...

I am sorry that I even posted this one. I do not know where everyone gets that I have something against tgirls living on this planet or something. I DONT!

I only used Hooters as an example as many of the other general place. No wiseguy I do not go to strip clubs! A girl I once worked with worked in one and my last M2F girlfriend worked in one years ago. I even think that it is nice that Jen works a bank too! I thought she answered me correctly and I was impressed with her answer. I guess Jen you are insulted as I was simply pointing out the fact that all of you girls are closer than many of us ignorant people think. Many folks think that they are only in porn and sex objects, and I believe to the contrary! I think that tgirls are real women and not pieces of meat! I defend that to a lot of people! You should be glad that I am on your side.

Just so you know that I am sorry that I joined this forum! This will be my last post and I am sure that all of my female aquantences will say I am crazy for being here. What even gets me worse is that I apologized to those in the begining and told everbody what my intentions are and then some wiseass thinks its about Hooters. First of all, why are people looking at a porn forum complaining about Hooters. Most of you have your hands on your cocks anyway when reading these posts and you knock a national chain that is family oriented! Families go in there for Petes sake! Also I have friends who work in them and they do not to and they are there for money only. Also many are not ashamed of who they are cause many phobics are making a big deal. And, I do not ask " Hey babe do you have a dick or vagina" like some wise ass thinks I did.

I just simply wanted to know if many thought the same way as me. That everyday we meet tgirls and do not know it. That does not mean that I feel that they should not be out there or not! Just to point out to those you think I am! Obviously you guys and girls think I am stupid!

Now I missed that episode. I didn't even know that she had been in Ally McBeal Lisa Edelstein is another woman that has that look, we can count Kirsty Ally in that number.

Note to all, this is an on topic discussion.

Totally agree with you on this, JM... and for the part that i have made in bold, thanks for the info! Always thought Hefner (now 85 y.o.) had the final word on what appeared in the north-Am editions of his mag...

Btw i'm quite optimistic we'll see, within the next 2 years, the first "Transmate of the month" in a huge Playboy centerfold (not sure it's gonna be a pre-op, though) With the company's fortunes steadily dwindling, maybe it's time to try something new...
