Thanks for your response Jodie. Specifically, I was referring to your comment about spacecase being mentally-ill, not needing a medical degree to diagnose him, & smc?s apparent quotation of you- in a public post. It was placed toward the end of your public response to spacecase. This was the comment which I considered insulting. Not simply referring him to help elsewhere. Further, he did ask a reasonable question regarding estrogen as if he can?t qualify/obtain testosterone replacement, seeking to find out from people who might know best how well estrogen therapy would maintain bone density.
The matter of pms does not relate to what I wrote, as I would have no knowledge concerning the content of your pms anyway. That they exist and that smc confirms receiving similar pms- I believe you both. I speculated on the motivations which may have driven the OP to take the action he took. I know several non trans individuals who have taken a DIY approach to genital modification precisely because they have no intention to transition & thus didn?t/couldn?t/wouldn?t receive medical help to address BIID issues. BIID can be sexualized & it appears that the OP has done that, though, I will likewise admit that I am not qualified to provide diagnosis either. Some here- tgirls and non tgirls- diminish the consequences & potential loss resulting from orchiectomy/antiandrogens/estrogen. Though I have expressed aesthetic appeal, I have also responded to those who talk about erectile function as if it is completely mental and utterly irrespective of testosterone. So spacecase is not unique in addressing castration in a somewhat casual way. We?re all grown-ups and know insults happen. My point in objecting to what appears as insulting language is the *appearance* of a privileged bully pulpit- where tgirls can insult others, but not the other way around. It is not to diminish the reality that tgirls often get insulted by the non t community. The moderators take measures to clarify when posters accidentally or intentionally ungender tgirls, and I applaud that. Quite simply, my concern is that a community seeking to improve understanding (specifically, toward tgirls & more broadly, to those with body dysphoria by extension) should exercise understanding to all those who enter, trans or not. If you think someone is in severe need of psychiatric care, this can be stated in a pm, no? |

In light of the items quoted in my post
I'll let you work out if he's nuts or just trying to loose his nuts. ![]() My money is that the rest of the thread readers will be able to work that one out. Transladyboy.com is is a trans-sex site The clue is in the name ![]() It is not a community of trans-connected people seeking to enlighten or educate. Though a few of us do that. Also, it is not a medical mental-health support forum for men seeking to castrate themselves. Even so, both myself and the mods have gone out of our way to offer suggestions which we hope will help. (Which was really rather nice of us) Out of curiosity, why are you and spacecase9128 posting [non-trans] male-castration questions on this site? It's unlikey we are likely know know anything of use to either of you, outside of normal common sense opinion. Trans related surgery and hormone regulation information, has little/nothing of transferable use, to a man seeking to be a eunuch. The end points, surgeries, meds, psych care, and so on are all totally different I would respectfully suggest almost everyone here does not want to know about it either. It's just not our bag. But all power to you for making a difficult life / surgery choice. Good luck, n' all that. ![]() Have you tried posting on a lesbian holiday forum or a 1940's fire engine restoration club forum. I suggest the responses here on Transladyboy.com is far friendlier than you would find on any other type of forum. Tell you what, I won't post on your eunuch sites about trans stuff if you stop posting on Transladyboy.com about cutting your man-nuts off... (Again, the biggest clue is in the site name) Seems a reasonable suggestion, to me. Finally, why are you both asking medical stuff on a trans forum as our medical things bear no connection with yours and indeed any advise given by non-eunuch members of this site {read that as 99.999% of the members} is at best a guess and highly dangerous to follow as advice. Apart from the bit about cutting your nuts off with farmyard equipment, being a really bad idea. ![]() Nor is anyone qualified to give out medical advice. But I will anyway: The suggestion of a man seeking oestrogen as a substitute for testosterone, purely to stop osteoporosis is ludicrous. This is because of the other huge unwanted effects, which oestrogen would have on a castrated male body. (These effects are in no particular order)
Deep breath.... I would with the greatest of respect suggest that if you or any other male reader wishes to become a eunuch, please consider the following: Removal of your testicles is an IRREVERSIBLE PROCEDURE. The reasons you and others like you have to do this, are incomprehensible to me. Nevertheless, I am sure your reasons are valid to you in making this important and life changing choice. I would urge you and others to never consider operating on yourself. Instead, please: GO AND TALK TO A DOCTOR GO DOWN TO YOUR ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT GO AND TALK TO A PSYCH Or ...go and post these questions on a eunuch forum where you will hopefully get far more support and informed answers to your questions. I'm being very restrained in my response to you. Now lets just drop the subject as the OP has problems {which I hope I've helped him with & his PM to me suggests this is so} And I don't want to argue with you as I just don't have the balls for it. ![]() [I had to get that bit in ...grins] |
