There is more to a person than can be found in a picture(or any number of pictures, actually). Knowing what someone enjoys doing and trying to find a way to make it come about while still being a surprise to them, learning their fears and attempting to help them overcome them, being there not just for the happy moments, but for the sad moments as well. You can pierce far more of the human mystery doing that than one could ever do by seeing a picture alone.

There are so many wonderful facets to human beings, and a lot of joy can be found in discovering them. The moments that are never planned and are the most spontaneous can be the ones that leave the longest-lasting memories.

Hmmmmm. Fran, I'm not sure I really answered your questions, but your post certainly gave me plenty of food for thought.
