Four things to keep in mind -

If you're going to jam a tube up yourself, don't ram it in too deep. Let the water pressure percolate the liquid deep inside & take your time

Be careful about using too hot water - damages the gut lining.

Keep the pressure LOW, but persistent. Get to the point of discomfort & then evacuate the collection. Too high a pressure can open lesions in the gut wall allowing infections of the nastiest kind.
