I was asking because I also have an interest in semiotics and am an avid follower of fashion history, and I often ask why certain "outfits" crop up in the shemale/lb narrative. You know, schoolgirl, business woman, nuns. (I think these three are quite androgynous...schoolgirl hints at prepubescent flat chests, career women wear suits and bust balls, and nuns are chaste (well so they say) and bald.

I don't think the outfits you mention are unique to cropping up in the "shemale/lb" narrative. Schoolgirl, business woman, nun ... these are all common to pornography involving GGs as well. In fact, one could -- from a semiotics perspective -- point to the fact that they are common both to GGs and transwomen as kind of
denotata of there being no gender distinction between the two.
