Don't have any specific clothes, that I'd want her to wear.

I should clarify that by "ideally" it could also include things that you like to see her in.

It seems to me there's a few default looks that many of us fall back on (either in public, or in private)....some include business suit, slutty with fishnets, goth, prim, etc.

I'm also curious to see if guys around here are more into a "fantasy" look or just average everyday look. Of course, there could be a big difference between when we're in public and when we're behind closed doors.

It would depend on the circumstances, the most important being where we're going out to, for what purpose, why, etc.

But number one is what SHE is comfortable with. My opinion can only be my opinion; she gets the decision.

I know comfort is obviously important, and I appreciate that you would leave the decision open to your mate.

I was asking because I also have an interest in semiotics and am an avid follower of fashion history, and I often ask why certain "outfits" crop up in the shemale/lb narrative. You know, schoolgirl, business woman, nuns. (I think these three are quite androgynous...schoolgirl hints at prepubescent flat chests, career women wear suits and bust balls, and nuns are chaste (well so they say) and bald.

I don't think the outfits you mention are unique to cropping up in the "shemale/lb" narrative. Schoolgirl, business woman, nun ... these are all common to pornography involving GGs as well. In fact, one could -- from a semiotics perspective -- point to the fact that they are common both to GGs and transwomen as kind of denotata of there being no gender distinction between the two.

See, what is interesting is that they are porn personas, instead of an individual style (or no style at all....just any girl). Porn is all encompassing (thank god...or BLEEP! in a bear suit). But it is funny how so many amateur transgirls and transart I see (on flickr for example) default immediately to one of the few "porn" personas, regardless of age. I don't want to read into it, but it does resonate with trans identity (to them) leaning more towards a sexual fetish. Again, nothing wrong with sex, only an observation of curiosity on my part....not an invitation to flame wars.

I'd rather her dress with regards to the occasion. If it is a more formal event, then I wouldn't mind a dress and the whole 9 yards; Dress is usually dictated by the situation.

However, I for one would not mind if my special lady wanted to look a little sexy. The only thing I would be somewhat uncomfortable with is if she was being a bit ostentatious with her wear. Other than that, I really wouldn't care what she wore.
