I just wish I wouldn't have gotten the "wings" above the ears(as evidenced in the picture). It never got long enough to be able to put back in a ponytail(so as to look somewhat respectable) and it was too long to make it look "tidy" for work.

That sucks! At least you'll be able to grow it back, albeit slowly. It must have been pretty drastic to have to cut it off!
