Hello SMC my new friend, Thank you for being brave enough to respond first .... Ah you see it's not about what she would want to do ..... obviously we would expect the approach of trying to appeal to her idea of a good night .... but I want the guys to tell me what they enjoy doing and would invite the girl to get an insight of what the guy likes ..... without the attempt to impress her. A walk in the park during winter sounds very romantic ..... crisp frost/snow on the ground ..... walking hand in hand .....amongst the glistening, sparkling trees ..... cuddling into each other for warmth and comfort ..... boogers freezing between the nose and lips, eyes streaming in the nippy air, hands nipping in the frosty weather ...... sliding on the slippy ground like a sack of potatoes ...... sigh! Surely better to sit inside beside a roaring fire sharing a bottle of red wine, or hot chocolate with marshmallows, beneath a blanket, cuddled in to watch a great movie you both enjoy ..... and then ..... An outdoor concert in the summer ..... ? what kind of concert? The canoe .... now that's interesting .... Not the standard answer ..... that would get my attention. Me I'll give my answer later when a few more have replied .... and remember it's not what she likes .... it's what you like I want to know .... Kirsty xxx xxx |

I love to watch movies. I love movie marathons at home: lots of DVDs, maybe planned around a theme (but not too much repetition), with plenty to choose from and lots of time to spend exactly as you describe. Cuddling under a blanket, minimal clothes because the blanket is hot, but not so minimal as to be unexpected on a first date, with the closeness making it impossible not to touch, and eventually forgetting the movie because the lure of intimacy is just too much. A concert: I would like to introduce a gurl to some music she thinks she doesn't like, and have it be so wonderful that it changes her mind. I like so many types of music, it would depend on the gurl. But that would be a good first date ... especially if I committed at the beginning -- as I would -- that we could leave and try something else if she really didn't like it. Going to play some pool (billiards) at an "upscale" pool hall, where drinks are served and it's not too crazy, and we can just have fun without worrying about whether we're good at the game or not. I find museums, with the right person, to be a very romantic type of first date. It's all in the attitude you take to the outing. The beach, the beach, the beach. If the weather's decent enough (and for me, that means not storming too hard at the beach), I would take a gurl to the beach for a romantic walk, perhaps some oysters at a nearby oyster bar, and if it's certain beaches, perhaps some playing at the "boardwalk" games like Skee-Ball, etc. Bottom line: I want to have fun, make sure there's no pressure being felt (except the kind in our pants, coming naturally), and most of all that everything is respectful. There's plenty of time for the naughtier stuff later. Does that give you a better idea? |

Maybe go bowling or embarass myself roller skating. Go to the movies and grab a bite to eat , then walk through the park holding hands and laughing , talking about everything. |
