Yes, they are in India too and I still can not get one. 2 reasons:

1. Social system: If someone sees with a TS, I will be out of job in no time and my landlord will ask me to leave the place I rent. No one wants to have the company of perverts or the ones who go against god's wishes. TSs in India live separate from the society, they have their own areas. They are not allowed in multiplexes or super markets or shopping malls etc.
   
2. Typical Indian TS behavior: They mostly are dishonest and dangerous. If you get one you could be robbed or beaten up and officially you can't put any police report. In extreme cases, TSs may pick you up and cut your manhood. If you are very, very and very lucky, you may get a nice one. I don't count on that kind of co-incidence.

The above lines may look like fiction and this is where I live.
