Fascinating... I had heard of these dolls a long time ago. Even that they were eventually going to build in sound and “animation” to make them more lifelike. I visited the site out of curiosity and was quite amazed at the selection. You can even get the “shemale” version with

As a sex toy it looks like the “Ultimate Driving Machine.” In one of the reviews they even go so far as to compare it to a BMW so that statement is not far off. Even the price of $5,999 puts it in the “luxury” class. No mail order “inflatable’s” here! They certainly are beautiful as a work of art and impressive from a technology point of view. Reading the testimonials of “users” I can understand how they could be quite satisfying--it is beautiful, always available, never has a “headache,” would do
anything you wanted (I wonder how many are used in “elaborate” fantasies that would be way too “kinky” or dangerous for a human partner?), and could be put away when you were done. Many users said it was
better than a girlfriend or wife. Sounds like the perfect partner… or does it?
What is missing, obviously, is any kind of human element. Maybe I’m “old fashioned” or naive, but I just can’t picture myself with one of these things. I have never tried one but no matter how great looking it was, I’m sure I would always be aware that I was “fucking a rubber doll.” The best sex I have ever had was with my ex-wife when we were really “in synch” with each other--maybe after spending a long day together--sometimes on a special occasion--sometimes “on the spur of the moment.” There is an emotional attachment and connection that I believe is uniquely human. Not to mention a warm body!
Somewhere long ago I read an article on men who considered these dolls “girlfriends” and took them on vacations, picnics, out to dinner, etc. These guys were busy professionals and not bad looking--I’m sure they could find a human partner if they wanted. The technology behind these dolls is amazing. I’m sure that for a “quicke” they are awesome. No less an “expert” than Howard Stern said getting a blow job from one was better than a real woman. And they will become even more “lifelike” in years to come (no pun intended).
But I don’t see how these dolls could ever be a substitute for the “real thing.” Thanks, but I think I’ll pass for now.
