if u know life in Russia and mentality of people here, u will understand that even to be called "gay" here is considered to be humiliating.
hard and bloody life under communist regime created a new subculture here. people maybe dont pay attention to it, but in every day they use words or jargon from prisons and concentration camps. and in such places gays (but more likely, men who were raped without their will) always played very low, humiliating rank. normal man must not even talk with such kind of inmate, and gay cant touch anything belonging to normal inmate.
and in normal life gay will face only humiliation, mockery and violence.
it is funny to declare that u r gay or ladyboy in a school.
it is impossible to show ur sexual orientation on ur work.
otherwise, ur life will go down.
real transsexuals try not to show their orientation outside.

Actually you are correct in some ways, being gay is considered the lowest of the low in that culture and in jail or prison its exactly right, they will consider the men (raped or not) to be no good and will push them away and humiliate them. But there is Russian shemales and what I found out is that to organized crime, if the gay guy can make them money they won't care. What they do is if they see a guy or young boy who is pretty or cute they will tell him or force him to service men and after awhile start telling him to dress like a woman and become a Tgirl. And if he refuses they say they'll kill him or his family and eventually they become sex toys for them. Thats why you see most of them as being good looking. Also all those pics are shemales and their is photo shopping but I've seen pictures of them in public and walking around and they still look good.

I tell you if it wasn't dangerous most of these Tgirls would make a killing doing porn and are in some cases better looking than some of the Brazilian Tgirls.
