I think Cherryl Ladd was Melodies singing voice but not the actual speaking voice.
Kinda how Tara Reid was Melody in the movie but none of them sang. Anna Waronker, Bif Naked and the girl from Letters to Cleo did the vocals.

Yeap before she made it big on Charlie's Angles she was the singing voice of Melody and i think she also did the speaking voice in both cartoons the other being JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS IN SPACE a Josie and the Pussycats meets Far out Spacenuts not there greatest idea

It was to weird to be a dream. He even had a dog wearing a leather jacket ... and they went to space. They made everything into a cartoon in the 70's .... The Beatles , The Jackson 5 ....
