For starts, here is the most recent study on violence against Trans women:
http://forum.transladyboy.com/showthread.php?t=5939 As a matter of fact, in Washington DC it was reported today that two Trans women were attacked, and one died. http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/lo...-55119857.html (Note the title of the article "Transgender Man.." nothing like a slap in the face on top of it all). We also had the recent trial of Leticia Green's killer in NY and Angie Zapata in CO. In NYC there has been a recent upswing in attacks on Trans women in the Bronx.
