Also a castrated T girl is no longer technically male so might that make the attraction less "gay" in some peoples minds?

While I do feel everyone has a right to express their opinion about what they like or dislike, I am a bit shocked to encounter yours. I'm sorry but orchiectomy is part of the process of transition for many transgendered women. There is nothing perverse in it. Even though I will probably never have the full surgery, I would still consider it a huge improvement to be rid of my testicles. If some people find that erotic that's fine, and if others don't, that is also fine.

I totally disagree for my reasoning, above.
For some it is a fetish like castration fetish fantasy:
[I want a dom woman to remove my balls and keep me as a sissy girly-boy....and so on]

But for a lot of Ts it is our right & choice.
And NOTHING AT ALL do do with the fantasy type thing I've written above.
My validity as a woman is not based upon how much surgery I've had or how well I "pass" as a non-Trans person.
This whole Ts thing is finding a balance
and doing whatever is needed to make ones body feel right
rather than somehow "wrong"

For me personally it was exactly as noted above, with the obvious 365 days instead of 362. When the testicles were gone there was a big difference in the hormone effects even though I had been on T Blockers and mentally knowing there was no going back.

(not in a I'm better than you way, but castration {orchiectomy} is better for me than full SRS, way)
I'm chemically castrated {Zoladex inplant every 10 to 12 weeks}
as a run up to the slip.

I've a surgical review meeting on 30 november,
but may put back the op till the new year as I'm provisionally off over to the States Chicago
for FFS with Dr Z. in mid November
....less than 4 weeks.....gosh!

After an orhciectomy, you are no different hormonally, to any other woman.
As my flat mate pointed out, Every Ts who has SRS, has an orchi, as part of the procedure
And that if you elect for an orchi on its own,
any further surgery [vaginoplasty, ect.] is purely cosmetic surgery.
Thats a take on things I'd not considered before.

One of my best friends Alison Faraday
had an orchi some years back
and the results look visually stunning.

In summery, an orchi is just as valid a choice as SRS for a M2F Ts.
