But even the word bisexual isn't that good. I don't think it really speaks to the TG community. We might have gotten a T stuck on the end of LGBT, but tgirls are not respected the way the L and the G are. A lot of people in gay bars still think we're freaks. On top of that, even in such a minority that you would think would be accepting, shemales have trouble fitting in. A lot of the TS community refuse to take a tgirl seriously -- even if she has boobs and is on estrogen -- unless she's on testosterone blockers and wants to eventually have her junk removed.

Yes, I've seen the gay guy who doesn't want a sweetie in panties or a skirt, but I've seen a t-girl acquaintance from my San Francisco days who had gay guys all over her in an after-hours gay bar. I'm just trying to make sense of a sort of contradiction.
