2] the standard two all star teams ie East teams vs West teams
3] the fansaty draft remember the capt's pick there teams
4] make a NHL all star team vs the Russians or other top European team

I agree with you, Jen. I'd rather see an NHL all-star team play the Russians or Finns or Swedes or Czechs.
