Only two games(well, one really can't be called a game since only one team decided to show up. Here's a hint....it wasn't the fing Leafs!) last night.

Sounds like the Devils copied the Leafs for 40 minutes on Saturday night. Lemaire said, "the team lacked energy until the 3rd period". For the last 18 mins of the game they only trailed 2-1, conceding the 3rd in an empty net with about 10 seconds left. If only they'd tried to earn their pay in the first two periods.

I hope the injury to Patrik Elias early in the second period isn't as bad as it sounds, wheeled off the ice strapped to a backboard with head and neck injuries. I wonder how many games he'll miss?
