Have on the night stand a very hot cup of coffee and a tall glass of water with crushed ice in it. Dont take the ice in your mouth just the ice water. Keep the liquid in your mouth as you go down. Then every 20 to 30 seconds stop and take another sip alternating between the hot and cold liquids.
