How about exploring the potential this forum could have a chat room? Maybe when it grows and has a lot of members we could have a chat room?

Hey thanks, that's an interesting idea. I've never been a big fan of chatrooms myself, but there are probably many people who frequent them.

I'll think about that, perhaps adding a chatroom to a blog would work better since it has more visitors.

Default Is the Chat Room Causing Problems with the Site
I'm just wondering if the the chat room might be causing problems on the site. Everything seems to be slow to load. This past Wednesday was especially bad (chat room testing going on then?). Also some links are taking forever to load (I have a high speed connection) and I've even given up waiting for some to load. Every so often the thread window gets minimized and it seems to happen whenever something new is added to the chat room. Or am I the only one having problems today?

Hi ila, sometimes a bit slow to load today but not too bad for me, however the last week has been really slow lots of problems loading.

Hmm.. I am unsure what is causing speed problems. It can't be the chatroom since only 2 people knew about it being tested and it could not impact the server load.

right now the speed seems ok to me
