repetative threads and sticky's

i cannot be the first to think this up but here goes:

i have been searching through the threads and have noticed a lot of repetittion either over a topic or girl or anything for that matter. it could be cum eating or kimber james and there are multiple threads for this one subject.

what i am suggesting is something i have seen elsewhere which is you make one of the threads the authority on that particular subject and you put it as a sticky in that part of the forum. this way people dont start a new one or comment on another one already in progress. it makes for finding things much easier and organized.

i realize that most people will not bother to search the forum to see if there is a thread already in here for what youre looking for so by making it a sticky it puts it right in the forefront so people realize its there.

and it would only be on the things that are most popular. meerly a suggestion. i have found searching in this forum to be quite cumbersome.

And just how many stickies do you think would be the result of this? At a guess and just for the Freebies forum it would run to several pages so there is really nothing to be gained by that. Threads are merged when appropriate, however mods and admin cannot spend all day everyday on this site. We do have lives beyond this site.

The search function is not hard to use. There is a search feature on each page at the top right corner of the light green ribbon. Depending on where one is on the site it is possible to search a the site, a particular forum, or a particular thread. There are limitations to the search feature in that each search term must be at least 4 letters.

evidentally i struck a chord here and based on your responses youve heard this before so how come when i use this "not too hard to use search function" could i not find one on this topic before i submitted my thread?

and as for the stickys running for pages - youre right which is why there need to be more categories here rather than it all lumpsumed into a giant clusterfuck of any and everything people feel like posting.

sorry i like organization thats all. it was just a friendly suggestion. i dont believe i implied you (the mods) didnt have lives. you decided to get defensive.

As Ila said, a ton of stickies would come from this, which means less sticky cum would come from this (see what I did there?). After that point, there would actually be more repetition, because the same handful of threads would show up upon each visit, even without updates... or, of course, with only the useless posts ("So hot," "I'm in love," etc.)

If it ain't broke (in the end, it's really not...), don't fix it.

This subject has never come up before and that is why you could not find it on the search function.

The home page for the fora becomes too big then. There are enough categories and subcategories as is. Possibly one option worth exploring is a forum for new members to introduce themselves and post pictures of themselves. You will have to realize then that when a new forum is created it takes time to go through the whole and move the appropriate threads to the new forum.

Providing an explanation is not getting defensive. It is nothing more than providing an explanation so quit trying to read more into what I said.


This is only your second day on this site. Perhaps you should take more time to get acquainted with the site and all the features as well as the threads and information provided before you start complaining about the site and making suggestions. This site has worked quite well up to this point.
