I don't understand the recent fetish, in mainline porn, to feature female models and actresses who are shorn of all pubic hair. Are the editors and producers actually selling, consciously or unconsciously, an image of prepubescence? Or, is it perhaps an extension of that puritanical need to sanitize everything, to dye coffee filters and paper towels white? Is female pubic hair a source of shame or embarrassment?

Put me down as a man who thoroughly enjoys a natural bush. Which brings me to my point: I have an equally strong preference for TS ladies to be au natural "down there." Scanning through the Archives photos on this site I have found that approximately half of the TS women have kept their pubic hair. This is in contrast to what I would guess is less than 10% of the GG models in popular pornographic magazines.

Well to each his/her own. I was never particularly interested in images of the penis in the past but that changed when I developed an interest in the third gender. Reason is that a woman generally spends more time taking care of her body and that includes her pussy or penis. The image of a neatly clean-shaven penis attached to the smooth hairless body of a woman is now a sight that I tremendously enjoy, particularly when it's adorned by suspenders (garters) and stockings. Totally clean-shaven definitely has my preference.
Men in my view however shouldn't bother with shaving, for in combination with an otherwise hairy body, it would look totally out of place.

Strangely enough, where it concerns genetic women, my preferences are somewhat different. While I'm smoothly clean-shaven myself, I happen to find the neatly maintained full classic triangle the way to go for dark-haired women. Italian girls are just irresistible that way.

I don't see it as prepubscence any more than a clean shaven gent. If you enjoy a hairy bush(crude)that's your fancy. Much like hairy shoulders or backs, it's a matter of preference. When I floss, it's not in the bedroom.

Clean look is very good on femboys that have that "look" to them, you know what I mean, smooth hairless bodies really get me going but to shave the pubes and still have the rest hailry is not my taste. Hairless can also be said to be finger lickin good right down to the last drop

Although I must admit that I do like the shaven look, I have always wondered like yourself if this is a means by which to subliminally present to the viewer the notion of prepubesence. However this isn not something confined purely to the pornographic industry, you will probably find that the same ratio of women within the general population prefers the shaven or waxed appearance. It is more attractive, more hygienic and body hair is something that you could argue is something that society has constructed as a masculine trait taht is now very often done away with by 'metrosexual' men.
