Whats your pc rig specs?
just wondering, havent seen it here. it seems a point of pride amongst the furry-toothed geeks on teh internets
so this be mine: P4 HT at 3.4Ghz 1Gb ram 700Gb hdd space and varying external drives dual display on Radeon 9550 VIA Envy 8 channel sound card black case with 3 extraction fans and custom lighting cant bring myself to spring for a new mobo and cpu

I got
2.0Ghz Core2 Duo 2gb ddr 2 128mb Nvidia 84000m gs with HDMI out Sigmatel audio 5pt analogue surround with HD digital sound over HDMI 120GB SATA HHD built in card reader, slot-loading DVD-RW drive, array microphone, integrated 2 megapixel camera, aluminum wristrest, PCI Xpress X54, 802.11g wifi, gigabit LAN, firewire, integrated Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, , integrated remote, soft touch microsatin case finish in Crimson with Aluminium trim. 13" WXGA TFT 12.5" x 9.4" x 1.3" ~4lb 9cell 94w battery 4 hour DVD playback. Sadly I am not currently in possession of a tower, but luckily my laptop pretty much kicks ass for an ultra portable, it's probably the best gaming machine you can get that can fit in your shoulder bag. it has a 160 gig hard drive and 2 gigs of ram i think. beyond that i haven't got a fucking clue. its a dell dimension 3100

The only thing mine lack is HDD space, because I just coundn't afford a drive upgrade, I am planning on getting a media server tho, so that should solve my problem as mostly my drive is full of videos. Admit it boyo, your tower just got beaten by a 13" laptop! lol.

3GHz P4
1.5 GB RAM 7600GT 256MB I think this rig will be fine for some time, though I'm sure I'll have to upgrade it in 2009.

yeah. a pc event horizon is sure to occur soon. i mean there have been no factory clocked cpu's above 4Gh, just more cores, dual core, quad core, etc. where will it end?

This was a rig I built a while back.
Intel E8600 DFI Lanparty P45-T2RS+ motherboard 2 x 1GB Crucial Ballistix 6400 Tracers ATi HD4870 GPU. Not the fastest of rigs I've had lately but only one I got a screenie of. Currently also have an MSI Wind with 6cell, 320gb WD 7200rpm HDD and 2gb ram E8300 @ 3.8~ghz 2x2gb GSkill 1066 mems Gigabyte X48-DS4 mobo ATi HD3850 GPU Intel Q9550 2x2GB GSkill 8800 mems Asus Maximus X48 2 x ATi HD4850's xfired 4x320wd aaks HDD's in Raid0 1 x WD 640gb aaks HDD storage and a few other scrappy rigs in bits and pieces that occasionly conglomerate themselves into a working unit for media dispensing.
