Trans RealDoll - Anyone Have Experience?

hi, all. i saw that movie 'lars and the real girl' recently and checked out the company's web site that was mentioned. my gf was really impressed by these, and i obviously i was, too, or i wouldn't be posting this....in fact, we're considering one of these to spice up the bedroom. these things are incredibly lifelike, but all tricked out they can run you nearly 10 grand (USD).

so my question is whether anybody has experience with this product or another similar one....? i'd love to buy a robot this lifelike if it could be done for, say, double the price. just curious if anyone has entertaining or instructive perspective on this topic. doesn't have to be realdoll.com but that's the one i'm looking at, and where these pics are from. for the record i have zero affiliation with that company and zero exp with dolls, so every insight would be welcome.
