AIDS can be the RESULT of HIV. Basically, if you're having unprotected anal sex with someone who has HIV and cums inside you, you have it. It may take some time to develop symptoms but there is a high likelihood you'll acquire the virus. If you have open sores in your mouth, you can also acquire HIV from oral sex... although the transmission rate for oral is much less likely than unprotected anal sex.
