I thought about hooking up my HDTV to the computer as a monitor. But decided that my 22" Gateway LCD monitor does a great job by itself. Now if I could only change the menu language on the monitor. I'm lousy at reading Chinese.
Tried to do the upgrade Sunday, ran into a little snag. Seems my case is just a tad too thin for the motherboard and the CPU cooler I bought. Had to order another case. My son is right, I can't judge size worth.....uh....Scat!!
Also found out, a little late, that because I'm using a 32bit Operating System, It will only recognize just a tad over 2 Gigs of the 4 Gigs of system memory that I have. In order for it to recognize all 4 gigs, I'd have to install a 64 bit Operating System. I so don't like the idea of getting Windows Vista.

I guess if I played any games on it I'd want something better, but I really don't.
I did upgrade one thing... I used to have 3 monitors taking up my whole desk, but a few months ago I threw away my desk and got a 46" LCD. So I guess I'm a pretty big geek since I usually watch TV on a 32" TV and have my computer plugged into a 46" TV.
