Half your age? Well, assuming you're at least 36 and she's mathematically 18 (and legal), why not? You're as young as you feel, I say. Besides, the whole "age" thing just depends on the couple itself and how THEY feel about any differences between them. Hey, Michael Douglas Jr. is 25 years older than Catherine Zeta-Jones
to the day (they actually share the same birthday -- there's wacky trivia for you!) and they're happily married with 3 kids.
And one of the biggest age spreads I can think of (being the geek that I am) was James Doohan (yes, Scotty on
Star Trek) who met his last wife (get ready for this one) while playing as a contestant on TV's
Family Feud. They were on opposing sides. But she caught his eye...they traded numbers...dated...married...had kids...and were happily married to the day he died. Age difference between them: 36 years. When they met on
Family Feud, she was 18 and he was 54.
