Default kissing

Along with very hot pictures, an interesting discussion has unfolded on this thread (although there hasn't been any activity for a while). Whether kissing is a turn-on is, of course, for each individual to determine, but the question of kissing in general seems to have a bit more universality.

It is often reported that prostitutes will not kiss their clients. Even those of us who have never been with a prostitute may know this from movies, etc. Why? Some psychologists explain that kissing is the most intimate of acts. It is something we learn to do at a very young age, when we kiss our parents and our siblings. Intercourse, in contrast, is a physical act from which it is possible to detach ourselves. We may or may not, but we can.

To me, kissing is beautiful, and I love pictures of kissing. These pictures with hard cocks and kissing are even more beautiful.

There is a famous short film by the French director Jean-Luc Godard, made in the mid-1960s, in which a Soviet soldier is sent to a sex treatment facility. The first prostitute he meets does not excite him; she represents "physical love." The second one, who represents "spiritual love," makes him so passionate he can barely stand it. When they kiss, they are using what one film historian/critic explains is "the one part of the body which can both speak and make love." Notably, a PA system announcement when they kiss tells everyone that the couple is dangerous because "they are making love, progress, and conversation-all at the same time."

That explains why kissing is such a turn-on for me. Of course, each person has their own turn-ons.
