I wouldn't say that, if the controls are done right, the keyboard+mouse combination works very well with many kinds of games. But if the developers are lazy or just porting the game over to the PC you have to suffer with it...
Assassin's Creed is a good example, it plays great on the PC too.
At least Ubisoft didn't fuck this one up...
