I have mentioned the “Eagles Nest” as a place to take that special someone in several posts before.
Considered “Indy’s Most Romantic Restaurant.” Yes, it actually does exist. In downtown Indianapolis at the top of the Hyatt. Many cities have rotating restaurants, nothing new, Detroit has a much bigger one.
Closer to where I live, in the Zionsville, Carmel, Noblesville corridor on the Northside, there are some great places like Eddie Merlot’s. Zionsville itself has the only Dairy Queen next to a Bentley dealer that I know of. Really! Get a “Blizzard” and drop $350K. I don’t know if even Beverly Hills can top that…
However, I’d better be careful about taking any of my “girls from Tennessee” (Hayley Williams, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift) to the Eagles Nest. It may be romantic but as you can see, unfortunately gives a spectacular view of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts.
