So my earliest memory of meeting a "dream girl" was Heather Thomas when I was 6. But I used to watch other shows during the late 80's and it got me wondering who my "earliest celebrity crush" would have been?

Belinda Carlisle who sang "Heaven Is a Place On Earth," a #1 hit in December 1987 may actually be the first. I was just 5. None of the "women in my life" today, including my wife were even born...

As far as TV or movie actresses go, here's one I had forgotten about. Her name is Jean Bruce Scott and was a star of the series "Airwolf." My parents (mom) allowed me to watch this because it wasn't as "violent" say as "Miami Vice."

My dad however used to watch Miami Vice up in my room with me. We never told my mom. Of course the main attractions were the White Ferrari Testarossa and all the women. Maybe that's why he watched it too?

Airwolf also starred Jan-Michael Vincent as the pilot and Ernest Borgnine as his sidekick. Sadly both have passed away. Fun fact: I saw an old episode of "Airwolf" a few years ago. It starred a young Bryan Cranston. I am a fan of course, of "Breaking Bad."

I would have liked to have Jean Bruce as my babysitter. But I would have had no choice but to behave as she probably could have beaten the crap out of me back then.

(On many of these shows the heroine would often get "tied up" or "gagged." So that's where it comes from... )
