They are postponing the "Indy 500" until August because of the virus outbreak. Probably 500,000 people coming together for a weekend is not a good idea right now. One of the "traditions" of Indianapolis has been the "Snake Pit."

Usually located in the "Turn 1" infield, it has always been rowdy and during the late 1970's became "drug infested" with many arrests. They did away with it for a while. Then brought back a "tamer" version with bands. I have never been to the "Snake Pit." Really!

Some would call this the best part of the race...

(Moderators: They enforce "drinking laws" in Indiana very strictly. Alcohol is sold at the track. The minimum age is "21." These pictures are from IndyStar, a legitimate news site. I would assume all the women are "over 21." The Motor Speedway could get in a lot of trouble otherwise.)
