Yes. In the United States they were released in 1982. So, they're... not. that. old. Never have used one. However my "earliest" computer was actually a "VIC-20" (I mistakenly remembered it as a "C64" when responding to ila. His was way more advanced than mine.) complete with "cassette drive" that my mom picked up on sale somewhere. Preschool. Late 80's. All she knew was that it was a "computer." Wish I still had it.

You ought to check out the "Old PC Technology" thread. Both ila and I (and others) have contributed to it. There's a lot of us who remember that stuff. Good times!

Hope you will hang on to it. And you are never too old to be DOM TS obsessed!
