Definitely. I have also experienced the reverse, initially finding someone physically unattractive, and upon discovering their gorgeous personality, seeing them as incredibly physically desirable. To the extent I'll begin finding people who look like them physically attractive as well. Probably a Halo Effect-psychology working there.
Very interesting. I have experienced the same thing. Attraction is complex and involves many factors--what we desire in the "fantasy world" doesn't always translate directly to the "real world." If we hold out for some kind of artificial ideal we may end up being very lonely.
